Bet's Thoughts after the Bar Exam...

The exam took over 12 hours over the course of two days. She said that compared to the bar, going to law school, running a marathon, and going through cancer, chemo, and radiation were a breeze. She will find out the results in the middle of April. Pray especially for the graders of her three essays as these can be very subjective. Thank you, everyone, for every prayer on her behalf.

Today, the day after the Bar Exam, she began the day with chemotherapy and finished the afternoon with three tests at the Moffitt Cancer Center. She is now shopping at the mall!!!! She will take a week off to "hang out" with friends in Chicago and Sarasota before returning to Casagrande and Associates. You go, girl!!!

THIS IS THE WEEK...PLEASE PRAY!!

Could you please pray with me this week? All day Tuesday and Wednesday, Bethany will finally have another opportunity to take the Bar Exam. She has been diligent and is trusting the Lord for clarity of thought even while she is still in the midst of chemo. Thankfully, this is her best week as she will have chemotherapy on Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon, she will finally have an ultrasound to see what is happening in her pelvis and/or abdomen (don't know if they'll do both at that time). Please pray there will be no cancer. Also, my husband is driving down now to support her through these three days, so please pray for his safety and just the right words to encourage her. Friday she has a flight to Chicago to see her dear friend, Rana from Stetson Law. When Bethany returns, she will enjoy the sunshine with Kera, a dear friend who lives in Sarasota (they were on the Liberty University tennis team together). Bethany will then return to Casagrande and Associates Law Firm in St. Petersburg. Whew!
